Shooting Video & Photo

My Approach & Shooting Style

Jen Sawyer Video - Jen Sawyer is an Arizona Videographer specializing in Lifestyle Photography, Drone Videography, Videography Classes, and Video Production Services | Video Content Creator | Drone Videography | Event Videographer

Why work with me:

You’ll love the end product, but most importantly you’ll love the experience!

We’ll hang out, shoot content & have fun. I’m outgoing, fun, flexible, easy to work with & I love what I do!

While we’re on set, I can help with all the things.

I’m a Director, Producer, DP & Editor. I can help with the entire project from start to finish and guide you through the shoot. The shoot day will be so much fun!

When you hire me:

We’ll go over everything & I’ll help you with each step. I’m available via email, text or chat if you have any questions as we get ready for the shoot day.

First things first: After we chat about the scope of the project, I'll send over a detailed estimate of the total cost of the project. After the estimate is approved, I send over my e-contract.

Here are Links to my Video Contract & Photography Contract.

Once the contract has been signed - 50% or more of the total cost of the project is due. (depends on project scope)

The deposit secures your day and time. The remaining balance is due a week before the shoot day (unless otherwise discussed)

I’ll walk you through the entire process once you have booked me.

Locations:

We can go over your vision. If you have a location picked out that’s great! Remember some locations require a permit and/or fee. Fee will be covered by client in advance to secure shooting location.

If you’re not sure about locations I will provide a list of really great locations for you.

Things to consider:

Hiring Hair, Makeup & Wardrobe. I can help with this too if needed, but extra help is always a bonus.

The edit:

We’ll go over the scope of the project and what your vision is for the final video. We’ll talk about where your video will be posted and what size file you’ll need it exported as. One file size is included in my editing fee. Any additional file size, for example (4x5), is an additional fee.

Music for your project:

I use artlist.io copyright-free music library. You are more than welcome to choose your music, or I can pick it for you. Once the music is chosen and the edit has been done, the music cannot be changed. All editors edit to the music and if the music changes that would require a whole new edit. This can be done, but a new edit fee would apply.

After we’ve picked the music and shot all the footage, I’ll do a ruff edit. After the ruff edit is finished, I will send over the project (via Vimeo) for you to take a look and give your feedback. I provide 1 re-edit within reason. (3-5 small changes)

The re-edit:

The secondary edit includes up to 5 changes. For example, you would like to move one shot from the end to the middle, or you want to swap out one shot and add a different one.

After the 1 re-edit (that is included), any additional changes can be made with a fee of $75 an hour, starting at $75.

The re-edit does not include a completely different sequence of edits, and the music cannot be changed without an extra edit fee being applied.

Raw footage:

This is not included in the package. Raw footage is an additional fee, and an external hard drive will be provided by the client.

Cancellation Policy/Rescheduling:

Please read my VIDEO CONTRACT and/or PHOTOGRAPHY CONTRACT, which includes my policies around rescheduling and rain delays.
